What inspired you to get involved with WeTheChange?
I am a proud founding member of WeTheChange. I believe deeply in the power of community for women-led, purpose-driven businesses. Together, we can share insights on best practices, scale impact, and build networks that allow leaders to support and elevate each other with the positive change they’re creating in the world.
What has been your greatest accomplishment or joy in your leadership journey?
Meeting other leaders! I think getting to learn from others’ experiences and hear what their perspectives have been has shaped how I approach certain situations and improved my own communication skills along the way.
What has been your greatest challenge?
A key challenge has been changing the narrative in a finance world that often prioritizes profit over purpose. Demonstrating that gender-lens and impact investing can deliver competitive returns while advancing sustainability requires education, persistence, and courage.
What makes your business stand out in your field?
We bridge finance and advocacy. Nia doesn’t just invest in companies — we engage them, track outcomes, and equip clients with tools to grow wealth while advancing gender equity, sustainability, and social justice.
What led you to create / lead a purpose-driven business?
I wanted to show that capital can be a force for good without sacrificing financial performance. By combining financial expertise with a commitment to equity and sustainability, we empower leaders and employees to invest in solutions that generate both wealth and lasting positive impact.
